Sage is one of the oldest medicinal herbs. Its Latin name means “salvation”. Until the discovery of antibiotics, people used it for inflammation of the throat and internal organs, for vaginal flushes and against fungal infections.

The sage is still widely used in folk medicine today. It is used to help treat inflammation of the stomach, bile and urinary tract. In this article, we will share 2 sage recipes that are useful in the fight against seborrheic dermatitis and psoriasis.

Sage tea for the treatment of seborrheic dermatitis:

Pour 200 ml of boiling water over one tablespoon of dry sage. Leave it in a covered bowl for 30 minutes, then drain. Dip a cotton pad in the tea and dab it on your face on the parts affected by seborrheic dermatitis. Leave it for 15 minutes, then wash with lukewarm water with 1 teaspoon of propolis and half a teaspoon of baking soda.

Sage Home Remedy for Psoriasis:

Make a mixture of 10 grams of sage, 10 grams of yellow wort and 10 grams of thyme. Pour 1 liter of boiling water over the mixture. Leave it for 10 minutes in a covered bowl and then drain. This tea can be consumed during the whole day.

Bonus Recipe: Linden and sage tea for rejuvenation

Make a mixture of 1 teaspoon of sage and 1 teaspoon of linden. Pour the entire mixture into 200 ml of boiling water. Allow to stand for 10 minutes and then drain. Drink the whole tea before bed.
